Below it the page copies the current product screens in HTML on example data for the made-up brand northwind.dev, under one \"Example data\" tag. A staircase gives the short overview of the five stages, then the page takes the reader through them as five numbered steps. A sticky step list headed \"Every new site: 5 to go\" counts down as the reader moves and ends with step 5; below 1200 px wide it becomes one small bar such as \"Step 2 of 5 · Readable\". Each step on its own full colour ground is one headline that says what the user gets, one line and one product window, in one shared shell with the domain and the screen name: crawlers by engine, answer readiness and how AI describes you, who AI cites drawn to scale beside the gaps, a sample answer above the questions with who was named instead, and a weekly branded search line. Each window plays once as it scrolls into view, for 2 to 4 seconds, in HTML and CSS: crawlers tick, bars fill, an answer types out, a line draws and figures count up. The finished window is what the HTML holds, so reduced motion or no JavaScript shows it at rest and no text or figure depends on the animation. The page also has more room, with wider section spacing and more padding inside its blocks. Three ranked moves follow as their own short section. Screenshots, the dated captures, the \"How it is measured\" rows and the \"Does not mean\" blocks are gone. Those definitions moved to a new \"How AI visibility is measured\" section on the methodology page, which the page, the proof page links and llms.txt now point to. The plan table now states what each plan runs and that Starter and Pro checks run weekly and pause when credits run out, the FAQ matches the page, and the crawler form became a small free tool link in the window title bar, so the live check is the one action. The nav button stays on the page. The FAQ sits in two columns on wide screens, and the footer launch badges use the site typeface. The proof page and the crawler screens label the Google row Gemini, because Google-Extended does not control AI Overviews. The free scan FAQ now states the check time and the 24 answers correctly. The title and description are unchanged.","why":"A feature page shows what the feature looks like, and a reader should get each stage at a glance without a paragraph of text.","action":"none","release":"2026.10.31.1","date":"2026-10-31","contract_version":"4.0.0","status":"released","url":"https://trustgrowth.ai/changelog?entry=ai-visibility-family-design#change-ai-visibility-family-design"},{"id":"ai-visibility-five-pages","title":"AI Visibility is now five pages","surfaces":["app"],"kind":"improved","compatibility":"compatible_fix","what":"AI Visibility is now five pages, each with its own address: Overview, Prompts & answers, Sources & rivals, Compare, and Access & readiness. Starter now gets weekly answer tracking (5 questions on 3 engines, 3 times each, about 3 credits a week). Pro has no question limit and starts with 15 questions; its default weekly run now costs 10 credits instead of 13, and a manual re-check of it costs 9. Scheduled weekly answer and citation runs charge credits like manual runs. When your balance is too low, the weekly runs pause and the AI Visibility pages say so, with the credits needed and a link to top up. A citation check costs 1 credit for the AI Overview census plus 1 per 10 search samples. An identity read costs 1 credit, and proposing questions costs 1. Each visitor can check three domains a day; after that the panel shows the result we already hold for a domain. A check that could not run at all does not count toward the three, and two visitors checking the same domain at once share one scan. It is fed by the monthly snapshot that Free sites now get, so it shows counts instead of \"Not measured\", and it says whether the sample is a monthly snapshot or a weekly sample. Below 30 answers an engine shows only the count; a percent and its 95% range appear from 30 answers. Brands named instead are never shown on a public page. A question is quoted only when TrustGrowth's planner wrote it; a question taken from the site's own search data is shown by number, and its text is null in the API. The leaderboard and category standings have a \"Named by AI\" column, and the top three carry a badge when an AI answer named them. The public proof API adds ai_visibility.recalled questions and cadence, and ai_visibility_summary cadence and questions; recall percent, low and high are now null below 30 answers.","why":"A count of real answers is honest at small samples, and the questions show what was measured.
