ACT ONE · MEASURE · SEARCH VISIBILITY
A footprint you can defend beats a share you can't define.
Your real SERP footprint, measured absolutely — and compared only against a set you can name.
Your free score includes a monthly visibility footprint. The full Search map unlocks on Pro.
HOW TO READ EVERY NUMBER ON THIS PAGE
-
1 · footprint
Your absolute standing.Absolute: traffic potential, breadth, top-10 share. Yours alone — no comparison needed to exist.
-
2 · the set
You plus up to three named competitors. You plus at most three competitors you chose. Discovered from real keyword overlap; platform giants filtered; your pins never filtered.
-
3 · share
Share of that set — never “the market.”Share of that named set. Four sites is a denominator; “the market” is a story.
The map
The Search tab maps where you actually stand.
Visibility, share of voice, ranked keywords, and top positions all come from keywords the named set actually holds — not a market model or extrapolation.
The index is a footprint, not a share — smoothed across snapshots so one volatile week doesn't redraw the map. What it decides: whether breadth or position is your problem, which competitor is winning the shared set, and whether to defend top-10 positions or pursue gaps.
Four sites is a number. “The market” is a story.
Your set is discovered from real keyword overlap, then filtered, pinned, and capped:
THE SET'S RULES
- discovered
- candidates come from actual SERP overlap with your keywords, not from a directory
- filtered
- platform giants — the Wikipedias and Reddits of your SERPs — are excluded; beating Wikipedia is not a strategy
- pinned
- competitors you add yourself are never filtered, never rotated out
- capped
- the set stays small enough that share means something
A share of four named sites moves when you or they move — you can trace every point to a keyword one of you holds. A “market share” moves when a vendor re-estimates a market. One of these is a measurement.
The gap is where the plan starts
Each gap row is a keyword somebody in your set holds and you don't, scored for whether it actually fits what you sell. And no projections, stated as a feature: no “this gap is worth 4,300 visits.” A gap is evidence that a position is winnable, not a promise of what winning pays.

WHAT THIS DOES NOT SAY
Share here is share of a set you can name — we do not compute market share, and the set's cap is the point, not a limitation. Positions and volumes are third-party SERP observations carrying their provider and date; footprints of different sites are comparable only inside the same set.

Your map starts with your own footprint — the set, the share, and the gaps come from your real keyword overlap, not a directory of logos.
